What is the cost of membership ?

Most companies pay what is termed our “Baseline Membership Fee".

A Baseline Fee is the minimum payment available for an annual membership, and the vast majority of I.B.A. Members pay this figure.

The Baseline Membership is currently set @ €395.00 (Euro)

So why do some membership fees differ ?

Fees differ due to the fact that, a law firm, a firm of Accountants or an Offshore Incorporation Agent is not going to cause our staff as much work in terms of complaint or monitoring, than other types of companies, that is why the types of companies mentioned above will always pay our baseline membership fee.

Other company types such as Off-Plan Developers or Timeshare companies take up far more of our staff's time, and therefore this is reflected in the cost of their memberships.

We regard this to be the fairest system...

Companies that fall outside the baseline membership fee will have their fees calculated on a sliding scale basis and are evaluated by the I.B.A. Membership Assessment Team, appraised on their individual merits.

The I.B.A. endeavor to appraise all applications and contact the applicant within 48 hours, although during busier periods this is not always possible. (Weekends are not included within the 48 hour period).

Should you have any queries with reference to the membership procedure or require our assistance in any way, please contact Customer Services or the Membership Department and one of our staff will be happy to assist you.
